2026 NLPA Provincial Powerlifting and Bench Press Championship

-Your CanPL/NLPA membership must be current at the time of registration.

Please ensure when you register or renew your CanPL Membership that you select the Membership option applicable (Elite or Performance). If you have mistakenly selected the wrong membership type (E or P) please email registrar@powerlifting.ca within 24 hours of registration to correct.

-Picture ID along with a copy of your CanPL membership card, and a copy of yourt valid CCES certificate will need to be presented to the weigh-in official. If you do not have a picture ID you will not be permitted to compete.

-Warm Up Area is only for lifters and their coach(es).

-Coaching will be limited to one (1) coach per unequipped lifter and two (2) coaches per equipped lifter. No exceptions.

-Coaches and handlers must wear athletic apparel, including athletic attire, close-toed athletic shoes and sport bottoms (No Jeans) while coaching or handling athletes. Hats, sleeveless tops, and any attire that is unclean, torn or is in anyway deemed to be inappropriate by CanPL officials are strictly forbidden.

-This is a drug-tested competition. Once a lifter has purchased a CanPL membership, they accept the CADP drug-testing procedure IN FULL.

In consideration for my participation in the CanPL National Championship, I, the undersigned, myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, hereby acknowledge and agree to waive any and all claims that I have or may in the future have against Canada Powerlifting, Newfoundland and Labrador Powerlifting Association, and any of its employees, organizers, volunteers and sponsors and their heirs, executors and administrators of this competition, (the “Releases”) and to release the Releases from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury including death, that I may suffer, or that my next of kin may suffer as a result of my participation in this competition sponsored or organized by the Releases, DUE TO ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OF CARE, INCLUDING ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED and also including the failure on the part of the Releasees to safeguard or protect me from the risks, dangers and hazards of participating at this competition. I realize that the sport of Powerlifting is high risk and that I could be injured while in attendance at this competition. I certify that I am in good physical health and that I have no serious health problems and that I assume full responsibility for such conditions. I accept that I am fully responsible for my well-being and safety while I am participating at this event.*
