  • Mind HK is pleased to announce that applications for 2026/27 iACT Wellbeing Practitioner Training Programme are now open.

    The programme aims to equip one with the essential skills to deliver evidence-based psychological support to individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges in Hong Kong.

  • Programme Details

  • The 2026/27 iACT Wellbeing Practitioner Training Programme is a fee-based training programme and structured into three distinct tiers, designed to broaden access and cater to different learning needs. To ensure a high standard of practice, all trainees will start from Tier 1. Progression to subsequent tiers is subject to assessments to determine eligibility for the next level.

    *E-learning: E-learning modules can be completed at your convenience during your leisure time, provided you meet the weekly progress milestones.
    *In-Person Training: Most in-person sessions for Tier 2 and Tier 3 will be conducted on weekends to accommodate working professionals.
    *Clinical Placement (Tier 3): Please note that you may need to allocate weekday time to complete your 120-hour placement requirement to accommodate service users.

     

    Important: Please also note that individuals who either:

    (a) does not have the right to work in Hong Kong,

    (b) is not fluent in Cantonese AND English or Mandarin AND English, and/or

    will not be considered for a position at this present time.

  • Tier 1 Commitment

  • Can you commit to complete Tier 1 E-learning by 20 June 2026, and confirm your attendance at the scheduled Zoom/In-person session on that same day?*

  • To take part in this programme and to train as an iACT practitioner, I confirm that:

    • I understand that this is a fee-based programme. I agree to pay the required fees for Tier 1 (HKD $2,800) and Tier 2 (HKD $4,500) upon acceptance into each respective tier.
    • I understand that all training fees paid are non-refundable should I choose to withdraw from the programme without a reasonable explanation or fail to meet the progression requirements.
    • I understand that payment for a tier does not guarantee progression to the next. Progression is strictly based on successful completion of training hours and passing the competency assessment.
    • I fully understand the level of commitment, and I will commit to the training block and placement.
    • I will adhere to all host organisation protocols.
    • I will need to complete and pass a Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC).

  • Mind HK recognises its responsibilities in relation to the collection, holding, processing or use of personal data of its contractors under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong (the “Ordinance”).  Personal data will be collected only for lawful and relevant purposes and all practicable steps will be taken to ensure that personal data held by Mind HK is accurate. Mind HK will take all practicable steps to ensure security of the personal data and to avoid unauthorised or accidental access, erasure or other use.

    In accordance with provisions of the Ordinance I agree that:

    • all personal data relating to myself which has been supplied to Mind HK may be used; and
    • all personal data relating to myself may be collected, processed and used by Mind HK for the purpose set out below.
