1. Program Eligibility
The Bushcraft Activity Day Series is designed for children aged 6 to 16 years. Participants must fall within this age range at the time of attendance.
2. Supervision and Staffing
All activities are delivered and supervised by fully qualified CAMP Fairbridge activity staff. All staff hold current Working With Children Checks and relevant certifications to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
3. Parental/Guardian Responsibility
All participants must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the duration of the activities.
4. Health, Medical, and Dietary Requirements
Parents/guardians must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or additional needs at the time of registration. This information is essential to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. The organiser reserves the right to decline participation if adequate support cannot be provided.
5. Program Changes
CAMP Fairbridge reserves the right to modify the program itinerary, activities, or schedule due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as practicable.
6. Participant Requirements (Clothing and Equipment)
For safety and comfort, all participants are required to wear and bring the following:
• Enclosed footwear (mandatory for all activities)
• Sun-safe clothing (hat, sunscreen)
• Long pants or knee-length shorts
• Warm layers (jumper and/or jacket)
• Refillable water bottle
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in participants being unable to take part in certain activities.
7. Assumption of Risk
Bushcraft and outdoor adventure activities may involve inherent risks. By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for participation.
8. Behaviour and Safety
All participants are expected to follow instructions from staff and behave in a respectful and safe manner. CAMP Fairbridge reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe or disruptive, without refund.
9. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAMP Fairbridge is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during participation, except where caused by proven negligence.
10. Photography and Media Consent
Photos or videos may be taken during activities for promotional purposes. Please notify CAMP Fairbridge in writing prior to the event if you do not consent to your child being photographed.
