  • Our Core Values

Our company values shape a unique software engineering culture built on functional programming principles: clarity, composability, and thoughtful collaboration. They help us make better decisions, write more maintainable systems, and create a shared standard for how we work together.

    • Own Your Work — We succeed when we can rely on each other.

    • Don't Settle for Superficial — Strive for deep understanding of problems, constraints, and solutions.

    • Be Honest Proactively — If you need help, perceive a risk, or have a problem, talk to your team.

    • Get to It — Focus on actionable next steps that create positive impact.

  • Our Rating Scale

Our rating scale is based on impact because impact focuses on outcomes rather than effort or intent. The core question is: Did this person make the system, team, or client outcomes meaningfully better during this period?

1 — Negative Impact: Work created avoidable friction, risk, or setbacks for the team or project.
2 — Limited Impact: Work was completed, but had limited broader impact; more development is needed.
3 — Solid Impact: Reliable contributor who met commitments and supported team success.
4 — Strong Positive Impact: Consistently delivered high-quality work and strengthened project outcomes.
5 — Exceptional Impact: Work materially improved systems, team capability, or client outcomes, creating lasting positive change.
