2026 Women in Spectrum Scholarship Program

Applications are now open for the Diversity in Spectrum Council’s Women in Spectrum Scholarship program. DISC will name up to five scholars to further develop the pipeline of talented women engineers entering fields related to spectrum and communications. This effort is designed to encourage women engineering students to continue to pursue careers in spectrum research and development.

The selection committee will choose women as scholarship winners who are excellent students majoring in electrical engineering at an ABET-accredited university in the United States.

Spectrum Scholars will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship as well as up to a $1,500 travel stipend to attend the 2026 IEEE MILCOM Conference, held October 12-16 in Washington, DC.

To be considered for the Women in Spectrum Scholarship, please fill out the application form below. The application will close on June 19, 2026, and winners will be notified by the end of August.
