  • ABOUT PAINT CHQ

The Paint CHQ Mural Festival is an ongoing, innovative project that began in 2025 with the installation of 3 murals across Chautauqua County. In 2026, the Chautauqua County Partnership for Economic Growth (CCPEG) & the Chautauqua County Department of Planning and Development (CCDPD) will organize the installation of a mural in the Village of Bemus Point. Public art is often used by municipalities to enhance shared spaces, reflect local identity, and support cultural and economic activity.

Community input is an important part of this process and helps guide decisions about themes, locations, and overall approach. This survey seeks your feedback on public art, your community’s character, and ideas for potential mural projects. Your responses will help inform future planning and ensure that any public art reflects the perspectives and priorities of the community.
