Lilly Art Camp: Consider the Stars!

Create, Explore, and Shine!

Consider the Stars invites children ages 5–10 to explore God’s creation through hands-on art, storytelling, music, and play. We will encourage your child’s curiosity, celebrate their creativity, and help them discover their place in God’s good creation. Join us for a creative arts daycamp where faith and imagination come alive!

And this camp isn't just for children. We will have a separate station for caregivers where you are invited into a time of sabbath learning and creativity through puzzles, games, art, coffee, and conversation. Caregivers are, of course, not required to stay, but if you would like to do so, please feel free!

It is $15 for children to attend each camp. There is no charge for parents who decide to stay, however, you have the option to purchase a shirt for $15.

Children ages 3 and 4 are welcome, but must have a parent/caregiver remain at the camp with them.

Each camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the schedule will be as follows:

9:00-9:15: Welcome/check-in

9:15-9:30: Opening – scripture and music

9:30-10:00: Station 1

10:00-10:15: Snack break

10:15-10:45: Station 2

10:45-11:15: Station 3

11:15-11:45: Closing Worship

11:45-12:00: Departure

If you have already registered a child and chose to get a T-shirt, please choose the option, "I do not want a T-shirt". This way, you will not be charged for a second shirt.

If you would like a T-shirt, please give your size. If not, please choose "I do not want a T-shirt". T-shirts are $15.

If writing a check, please write the check out to NC Synod ELCA and write your "Art Camp- [your child's name]" in the memo line. If you are paying for multiple people, please send a note with the check listing the names of each person you are paying for and write "Art Camp- see note".

If you are sending cash, please send a note with it stating that you are paying for Art Camp and list the names of who you are paying for.
