Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in Camp Good News® (CGN). It is our desire that no child miss out on camp because of financial limitations.
Financial aid funds are made available to help cover the cost of camp for children who could not otherwise attend. Because the funds are limited, we feel it is necessary to allocate the donations to those who have the greatest need for assistance. Therefore, we request you fill out the 2026 CGN Financial Aid Application to help us in determining your child's needs.
If possible, we encourage you to make the $150.00 deposit with your child's completed registration form and scholarship application. Please provide a separate financial aid application and registration form for each child. The $150.00 deposit (per child) helps us spread out the limited funds to as many children as possible. If the scholarship is granted and cancelation is necessary prior to camp, the payment will be refunded only if cancellation is made two weeks prior to the first day of your child's camp session—minus any online processing fees if applicable. PLEASE NOTE: If your scholarship request is denied and you wish to pull out from camp, your initial payment will be returned to you in full.
If your child is awarded a scholarship, please encourage him/her to write a thank you note to the donor. The name of the donor will be provided to you on your child's camper registration confirmation letter. Please mail any thank-you notes to us so that we can forward them on to the donor.
