JAWS Letters & Songs: Workshop & Author/Vendor Reservation Form

Thank you for your interest in our 2026 JAWS Fest - Letters & Songs. A pivotal component of the 2026 JAWS Festival, the Author's Book Festival celebrates traditional and self-published local authors and their contribution to the literary community. This event will provide authors an opportunity to network, learn more about their craft, and sell their books. We look forward to seeing you during this festival of Jazz, Culture, and more.

TIME: Set-Up: 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Author's Book Festival: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Event Schedule

11:30am - 12:00 noon - Greetings & Readings

12 noon - 1:15 pm - Presentation from Dr. Julia Royston

1:15 - 1:45 pm - Lunch Break

2:00 - 2:30 pm - Presentation: Collaborating w/an Illustrator

2:30 -3:00 pm - Presenation: Planning Your Next Steps

Participant Fee: $50.00
General Registration: March 11 - May 15, 2026
FINAL Registration Acceptance: May 21, 2026

(Participants who register after May 15, 2026 may not be included on the final flyers or other promotional material. However, we will try to provide one personal promotional flyer.)

Note: Vendors are not restricted to one form of merchandise to sell.

Guidance Section

Please review the following:  Additional Vendor Guidance and  Information:

General Registration through May 15, 2026

Late Registration from May 16 - May 21, 2026. 

Registration will close on May 22, 2026. 

Authors/Vendors may not share tables. 

A table and two chairs will be provided. 
Vendors are expected to decorate tables appropriately.
Vendor booths may not obstruct the view of nearby vendors (walls, shelving, banners, etc.) 

Vendors are responsible for their own change, credit card charges, etc. 

Vendors should bring a buddy in case you want to leave your table to attend the session or a restroom break.

Authors/Vendors are expected to set up between 9:00 am – 10:30 am. 

Each vendor is expected to self-promote and market the event.  

Vendors are requested to remain for the entire event, unless there is an emergency.  (Please consult the organizers).

Charging stations will be available, but not exclusive to any one vendor.

Health Protocols:
All health protocols, including masks, will be governed by current city ordinance. Additional information, if necessary, will be provided closer to the event.
