Enrollment Agreement
We agree to the following policies and procedures of Galveston Symphony Orchestra: Artistic discipline is an important part of this learning experience. Participants are expected to show courtesy, honesty and respect for teachers, volunteers, and each other, including property belonging to other participants and to the GSO. Participants are expected to attend every rehearsal and the performance. The Camp Director reserves the right to replace any participant who does not respect and, to the best of their ability, adhere to the rehearsal schedule. Participants are expected to participate fully in rehearsals, follow the conduct code and respond appropriately to any direction given by staff. Any participant who does not follow staff directions or whose actions disrupt rehearsals may be suspended or expelled from the program: Participants are expected to arrive no more than fifteen minutes before classes or rehearsals. Participants must be picked up within fifteen minutes after the end of class or rehearsal. Prescribed medications must be accompanied with a note from parent/legal guardian and directions for use. Participants are not permitted to smoke or to bring illegal drugs, including alcohol, onto the grounds of, or into the venue. Infractions are reported to parents. Violations will be justification for expulsion. Participants are to use personal phones only during scheduled breaks.
