Non-Refundable Payment Policy
I understand that all payments made toward camp registration are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, schedule conflicts, or personal decisions. I understand that my payment secures a space and materials for my child and cannot be transferred or refunded.
Safety & Behavior Acknowledgment
I understand that the camp staff will make every reasonable effort to provide a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment. I agree that:
- My child will follow all safety guidelines and instructions from staff.
- Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in my child being dismissed from camp without a refund.
- I will notify the camp of any allergies, medical needs, or special considerations.
Personal Belongings & Lost Item
I understand and agree to the following terms regarding my child’s personal belongings while attending the Rowan County Art Center's Youth Art Camp:

Personal Items: Campers are encouraged to bring only necessary items each day. We recommend labeling all belongings with the child’s name.
- Cell Phones: Children may bring a cell phone for emergency purposes, but regular use during camp hours is not permitted. If a camper is found using their phone during camp, they will receive one warning and parents will be notified. Continued misuse may result in the phone being prohibited for the remainder of the camp.

Lost or Missing Items: The Rowan County Art Center is not responsible for any lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged personal items, including clothing, water bottles, bags, electronics, or art supplies brought from home.

Unclaimed Items: Any items left behind at the end of camp will be held until July 1. After that date, unclaimed items may be discarded or donated at the discretion of the arts center.
Injury Liability
By enrolling my child in the Rowan County Arts Center's Youth Art Camp, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that while the Rowan County Arts Center takes all reasonable precautions to provide a safe environment, participation in camp activities may involve inherent risks, including minor cuts, scrapes, or accidents related to art materials, tools, or physical movement.

I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless the Rowan County Arts Center, its staff, instructors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for injuries, damages, or losses that may arise out of or in connection with my child’s participation in camp activities, whether occurring on or off the premises.

I accept full responsibility for any medical treatment that may be necessary and authorize the camp staff to seek emergency medical care for my child if I cannot be reached.
By signing below (or checking the acknowledgment box during online registration), I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver of liability.
