The Daze & Knights committee would like to invite you to participate in our parade at the 19th Annual Daze & Knights Festival. The Parade will be held on Saturday, August 8th at 12:00pm. The parade starts at 12:00pm SHARP! Lineup will begin at 10:00am along 43rd Street (crossroad Maciver) in St. Michael. Below is an application for your entry. Please submit the application to the address below with payment or register and pay online by July 1st, 2026 if you are interested in participating. You will be notified by email with your position and other details 2 weeks prior.
Parade rules: Parade staff will do a quick inspection of your unit to ensure safety of parade watchers. Animal units will need their own clean up crew. Clean up crew must immediately follow the unit. To keep parade moving all units must remain within two car lengths of the unit in front of them. If you are a daycare or have a larger group of small children please have them ride on the float/trailer with supervision or have them in strollers . This is for safety reasons and to prevent gaps in the parade. If larger gap occurs, you must speed up safely to close the gap. All participants are required to be completely set up and in their designated line-up spots. If you are not in your designated spot, you will be placed at the end of the line. All participants, equipment and vehicles must fit in the space (length) requested. Please be specific about the length needed on this registration form. Any candy thrown must be thrown to the curb. No water may be squirted (squirt guns etc during any portion of the parade. The St. Michael Lions/Daze & Knights committee reserves the right to determine other rules and procedures beneficial to the total parade.

POLITICAL CANDIDATES MUST REGISTER AS THEIR OWN UNIT.
