TERMS & CONDITIONS
Amax Travels Canada (TICO/IATA Approved), in partnership with Uqaab Tour Guide, coordinates travel arrangements for tours to China and Hong Kong. Uqaab Tour Guide provides religious guidance and facilitation support only. Both entities act strictly as agents and intermediaries for third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, transport, etc.) and assume no liability for any injury, loss, delay, or damage arising during travel.
1. Deposit & Payments - Initial deposit of $1500 per passenger
A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 CAD per person is required at the time of booking.Full payment must be completed no later than 40 days prior to departure.
Prices are subject to change due to airfare fluctuations, currency exchange, supplier changes, or unforeseen circumstances, in accordance with TICO guidelines.
Payments may be made via e-transfer, bank transfer, direct deposit, or cheque.
2. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
40+ days before departure: $1,000 CAD per person (deposit) is non-refundable.
Within 40 days of departure: 100% of the package cost is non-refundable.
Additional supplier penalties (airlines, hotels, etc.) may apply.
No refunds will be issued for unused services or voluntary changes.
3. Travel Documents & Responsibilities
Passengers are fully responsible for:
Valid passports (minimum 6 months validity)
Required visas for China and Hong Kong
Compliance with airline and immigration requirements
Amax Travels and Uqaab Tour Guide are not responsible for denied boarding, visa refusal, or missed travel due to incomplete documentation.
4. Flights & Scheduling
Airline selection, routing, and scheduling are subject to availability and operational requirements.
Amax Travels acts as an agent only; all airline terms, changes, delays, and refunds are governed strictly by the airline’s policies.
Passengers must deal directly with airlines for claims, delays, or disruptions.
5. Accommodation & Itinerary
Hotels and services are provided by third-party suppliers.
In case of unavailability, similar standard accommodations will be arranged.
Any upgrades or changes requested by the passenger will be charged accordingly.
Shared accommodation changes to private will be charged at full applicable rates.
6. Liability Disclaimer
Amax Travels and Uqaab Tour Guide are not liable for:
Acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics
Political situations, government restrictions, or civil unrest
Airline delays, cancellations, or operational issues
Loss, injury, theft, or damage during travel
Participation is at the traveler’s own risk.
7. Transportation & Services
Local transportation and tour services are arranged through third-party providers in China and Hong Kong.
Any disruption or service failure remains the responsibility of the respective service provider.
8. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Amax Travels and Uqaab Tour Guide are not responsible for costs related to:
Medical emergencies
Trip interruption
Lost baggage or personal losses
9. General Conditions
Prices may vary due to exchange rates or supplier cost changes.
Failure to complete payment on time may result in automatic cancellation with applicable penalties.
Any flexibility granted does not waive contractual obligations.
The organizers reserve the right to amend or cancel the tour if necessary.
10. Agreement
By booking and/or submitting this form, you (I) confirm that you (I) have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge that Amax Travels and Uqaab Tour Guide act solely as facilitators with limited liability.
