With the support of the Hamilton Family Charitable Trust, the museum seeks to hire an independent Project Manager (Consultant) to conduct an 18-month project to assess feasibility for, design, and create a step-by-step roadmap to launch new teen programs for underserved youth.
The Project Manager (PM), together with key museum staff and leadership, will implement a needs assessment and action plan to sustainably launch the following initiatives:
- Teen Career Learning Program,
- featuring Career Awareness Days, and
- a Teen Council.
The PM will also conduct project research, determining the new programs' budgetary needs, developing communications and social media strategies, identifying essential resources (e.g., bussing, technology, equipment, outside expertise, etc.) and partners (e.g., School District of Philadelphia, community organizations, and more), defining roles and responsibilities within those partnerships, and assessing space needs within the museum’s campus and elsewhere in the museum and the community.
