  • Hey kids! Are you ready to put your business plan to the test?

    Now that you have completed your Lemonade Day Lessons, you are ready to run your very own business at the Junior Market at Esther Short Park on Saturday, June 6th from 9 AM - 3 PM!
  • This form will request your booth space and provide you with all the details you need to have a great day at the Junior Market!

  • Before you get started, please note:

    This form will ask you to verify your participation in Lemonade Day Lessons.
  • Depending on how you took lessons this year, you will be asked to provide one of the following:

    • App Based Lessons: We will ask for your username.
    • Physical Workbook Lessons: We will ask for a photo of your completed Business Plan (page 13 or 14)

    Started but still working through lessons? That's okay! Simply provide the info you have and our team will follow up with you to verify you have completed your lessons ahead of the Junior Market.

    Reminder: Participation in Lemonade Day requires completion of the lessons each year — even if you completed them last year.

  • Important Booth Information

    Kids are welcome to host a single space just for them, or share their space with other junior businesses!

    The Junior Market is made up of 10X10 "Booth Spaces" throughout Esther Short Park.

    Booth Space Guidelines:

    • One business in one 10X10 booth = Single booth space
    • Multiple businesses sharing one 10x10 booth = Shared single booth space
    • Multiple businesses needing more than one booth space = Please submit a separate form for each booth you’d like to reserve

    Examples:

    • Maya’s Bracelet Boutique wants her own space to sell handmade jewelry. She only needs to reserve one booth space for her business.
    • Maya’s Bracelet Boutique and Liam’s Lemonade Stand want to share a booth together. They only need to reserve one shared booth space.
    • If Maya and Liam each want their own separate booths to run their businesses independently, they’ll need to reserve two booth spaces by submitting separate forms—one for each business.

    Don't worry! A question about how many kids will be participating will be coming up.

  • Multiple booth spaces?! How exciting!

  • To get all the information we need for check-in on the day of, please fill out the rest of this form on behalf of your FIRST booth space reservation. That means the name(s), company name(s), and contact information for the kids that will be occupying ONE of your spaces.

    At the end of the form you will have the opportunity to start over and provide the information for your ADDITIONAL Booth Space reservations.

    Please note that booth space location will be assigned when you arrive at the Junior Market Check-In. If you would like your multiple booth spaces to be located near one another please plan to coordinate with any other parent/guardians/mentors providing transportation in your group before entering the park.

    Since you have more than 3 businesses sharing a SINGLE booth space, a member of the GVC team will reach out to you to verify that each business has gone through Lemonade Day Lessons.

    Depending on how the junior business owners took lessons, we will either ask for their App username, or a photo of each of their Business Plan pages in the workbook.

  • Step #1 | Plan for your Booth! 

  • We recommend you bring a tent for your booth space

    - Tents CANNOT be larger than 10ft X 10ft as each booth space is 10ft X 10ft total.

    - If you set up a tent larger than 10ft X 10ft, GVC staff and volunteers will ask that you take it down to ensure we have an accurate number of booth spaces for the market.

    - If you do not own a tent and would like to borrow a GVC 5ft X 5ft tent, we have a small amount available.

    Please keep in mind, we have had hundreds of community members excited about supporting your Junior Business, and we saw thousands of market attendees last year!

  • Pricing:

    We want you to sell, sell, sell! Be sure you price your items appropriately as they should be easy to purchase but should also make you a profit!

    TIP: Taxes do not come into play at the Junior Market

    Please plan to arrive between 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM to be completely set up by 8:40 AM

    Booth spaces will be assigned when you arrive and check in. You will be directed to the next available space within a section designated by the GVC team.

    Booth locations are assigned at random and cannot be selected, requested, reserved, or changed in advance or on-site. Early arrival will not allow you to choose your location or guarantee placement in any specific area of the park.

    Our booth assignment process is carefully coordinated not only to accommodate as many young entrepreneurs as possible, but also to efficiently move more than 200 vehicles into the park to unload within a limited timeframe. This structured process is required to ensure a smooth and timely setup for all participants.

    With thousands of attendees moving throughout the park, all booth spaces receive strong visibility and foot traffic, giving every participant a great opportunity to be seen and connect with customers.

    We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in the booth assignment process.

  • Set-Up & Parking:

    Step 1: You will pull into Esther Short Park from 8th Street and unload your materials at your assigned space.

    Step 2: Volunteers will be in place to help you unload in less than 3 minutes.

    Step 3: Volunteers will watch your items while you exit and park your vehicle. You can set up your space when you return. 

    Multiple parking options are available within walking distance. Don't worry! We'll send more info on this ahead of June 6th!

  • Photographers, videographers & GVC Staff will be taking photos throughout the day. The following is a basic Media Permission.

  • As the Guardian, I give consent for The Greater Vancouver Chamber and local media outlets to take still photographs, videotapes, audio recordings and/or use of verbal quotes. I also give GVC permission to use these completed audiovisual and print products for Junior Market promotional purposes without compensation or remuneration in any manner.

    Please NOTE: This photo release will be applied to each of the kids participating and that you have listed in this form.

  • If you do not grant permission, we will provide the kids participating at your booth with a special lanyard signaling to any photographers or videographers not to take photos or video.*
  • I hereby agree to release, defend, and indemnify the Greater Vancouver Chamber from any liability or claims that may arise from our participation and/or the distribution of my products sold at our booth space.

    If no, the Junior CEO will unfortunately not be allowed to participate at the Junior Market.
