Area Monitors – check wrist bands for entrance to the VOP tent; pick up ground trash in park using gloves, bags, and grab tool;
Parade – assist with the staging prior to the parade; monitor front parking lot to keep clear of parked cars (early morning volunteer)
Vendor Check In – assist vendors with locating assigned area
Zip Code Collectors – located at bus locations to collect zip codes from guests
Where needed – sign placement throughout park; run errands; pick up food, if needed

Volunteer Meeting Notice
A volunteer meeting will be held on the Thursday immediately before the Okra Strut, starting at 6:15 p.m. at Moore Park, in the Magnolia Shelter. It is very important that you make every effort to be at this meeting. You will receive your T-shirt, your job assignment, and you will receive training for your assigned area.
