The University of Arizona Behavioral Health WorkforceEducation and Training (BHWET) program aims to increase the supply ofproficient licensed behavioral health practitioners, guided by collaborative,team-oriented care. Our initiative is focused on cultivating a new generationof comprehensive mental health care teams by immersing DNP PMHNP students andpsychology interns within designated training sites, with an emphasis on thoseserving high demand, rural, and underserved areas.
