Parade Rules

Candy cannot be thrown; it must be handed to the crowd. All organizations must have a signed entry form. Follow instructions from parade officials and volunteers. Maintain a safe distance; limit performances to two minutes. All drivers must have a current driver license, registration, and insurance. Parade route follows the southbound MLK Ave lanes; no crossing into incoming traffic. Royal court vehicles stage in the JFK Park lot; all others line up on Nebraska Ave. No buses or large transports may park in the JFK lot. Car riders are not allowed on the roof, hood, or trunk. Car riders must stay inside the assigned vehicle.
