The Goochland Rotary Club Foundation welcomes applications from area non-profit-organizations for grants up to $3,000 (maximum) each for projects that hold the promise of improving life in the Goochland community. Grant criteria require that organizations: 1) have a demonstrated record of service to the Goochland community, 2) clearly define what group will benefit from the grant, 3) be affiliated with the Rotary Club of Goochland through its membership, and 4) if funded, give appropriate recognition to the Rotary Club of Goochland for our financial support.
Preference is given to projects that are located within Goochland County and benefit the Goochland community. Specifically, that support local charitable organizations, education, promoting STEM and scientific innovation, and expanding access to essential services. Grants are awarded at the discretion of the Club. We may choose to offer funding below the amount requested. We may also invite a funding partner to review your application and participate in any award or consider a separate award. All awards are subject to fundraising and may be reduced or even canceled if sufficient funds are not raised.
All grant applications must be submitted on or before the following quarterly dates:
- September 30th
- December 31st
- March 31st
- June 30th
