YOUNG STORYWRITER COMPETITION
Do you have a story to tell about a river? Maybe you saw an alligator, or a manatee. Maybe you caught a fish. Maybe you went swimming. Here's an opportunity to tell your story. Tell us about your river experience. Best stories will win prizes!

Printed copy of your story must be delivered to the Lullaby of the Rivers Festival on Sunday, May 31st by 10am
1. Kids 5 to 18 are invited to enter. Written permission of a parent or legal guardian is required.
2. Your story must be about a personal, first-hand experience you had at a river.
3. Your story must be written in English.
4. Illustrations, drawings, photos and graphics are not allowed.
5. Type your story using Times New Roman or Arial 12 point regular font. You may use italics or bold for effect, but do not use them frequently. Do not use all caps.
6. Your story must be less than 1000 words.
7. The story must be the original work of the entrant.
GUIDELINES FOR JUDGING
Content, language, awareness of river conservation
