  • The Alabama Tag Scholarship Committee (ALTSC) is now accepting scholarship applications for Spring 2026.  Up to thirty-two Alabama Tag Scholarships will be awarded to members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, both undergraduate and graduate students seeking Bachelors, Masters, and/or PhD degrees. Sorors who have been awarded previous Alabama Tag Scholarships must wait ONE semester before reapplying for another scholarship.

    OF AWARD **

    Applications are to be submitted to the ALTSC no later than May 15, 2026 at 11:59 pm, for Spring 2026 scholarship awards. All information will be held in the strictest of confidence and will be used solely for the purpose of scholarship administration.

    Each scholarship requires 1) A Complete Application, 2) Student Transcript sent from the Clearinghouse or Portal ONLY, and 3) Proof of Enrollment from the University Registrar's Office (student schedule is not acceptable).  Additional specific requirements are outlined and described below.

    1.  The application process is automated and contains fillable PDFs for ease of submission.

    2.  You will be able to save your work and edit all responses, print and preview, and submit your form.

    3.  Failure to submit all of the required information will result in the application being rejected.

    4.  Completed applications are to be submitted by May 15, 2026 at 11:59 pm. EDT

  • LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION:  Two letters of recommendation are required for all scholarship options.  Based on the selected scholarship, you must provide a letter from:  a faculty member, Primary or Secondary Advisor, or Chapter President.  Save the appropriate documents below by downloading them to your device. Send it to the appropriate persons according to the scholarship category you selected. Please ask the writer of the letter to send the recommendation to you for submission as part of your application.
