Thank you for your interest in registering for our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) - Essentials Program. 

Mental Health First Aid: Essentials is a suite of courses, focused on core knowledge and practical skills. The courses do not lead to Certification. Designed to be accessible and applicable across many settings, Essentials offers a strong foundation in MHFA principles without formal assessment or certification—making it an ideal option for individuals, teams, or communities seeking meaningful, time-efficient training.

When you have completed all fields below, hit submit form and you will be taken to the payment page. After payment, a receipt will be automatically issued from Stripe.

If the workshop that you are trying to join is currently full or if there are no dates available please click here to be added to our waitlist.

If you can’t attend the training you’re registered for, there are a few options:

Transfer Policy

1. Send someone in your place: This will not incur an administration fee. Please notify us of the new individual’s first and last name and email address with as much notice as possible before the program start date

2. Transfer your registration to another date: This will incur a $25 admin fee. Please choose a new date to take the workshop and contact us. Transfers will be subject to availability. 

3. No transfers will be accepted 5 business days prior to the program start date. 

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancel your registration for a $25 administrative fee. Refunds can be issued up to 5 business days prior to the program start date. 

2. If a participant cancels their registration fewer than 5 business days prior to the program start date, no refund will be issued. 

NOTE: We reserve the right to cancel workshops if minimum registration numbers are not met; in the event that we elect to cancel a workshop, full refunds will be issued.

Illness and Mask Policy: 

For the safety of everyone, we kindly ask that you do not attend in-person sessions if you are sick. Masks will be available and are strongly encouraged for anyone recovering from illness or who may have been exposed to illness through close contacts (e.g., child, coworker, roommate, partner).

 

If you are unable to attend due to illness, please contact us at clecoordinator@crisiscentre.bc.ca as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling or other options.
