Project Management
RAWspace in 2026 will be structured a little differently from recent years. It will constitute of three types of activities that you and your team will be required to participate in.
1. A 5 day residency at the Theatre Royal of your own planning and creative development.
2. A day to meet your chosen mentors and industry professionals and peers.
3. A day to present and share your discoveries with each other and invited guests.
You and your team will be required to commit across one of the following three weeks for your creative development.
- Monday 20 - Friday 25 July (with option of sharing on Friday 25 at 5pm).
- Monday 27 - Friday 31 July (with option of sharing on Friday 31 at 5pm).
- Monday 3 to Friday 7 August (with option of sharing on Friday 7 Aug at 5pm)
Project timeline
Provide a brief timeline outlining the proposed development process / activity of the three creative outcomes are you seeking to achieve across the 5 days of your development. Here you can also nominate your preferred week out of the three weeks on offer.*
Technical requirements
Give a brief overview of any technical requirements you might have, noting the Theatre Royal will provide basic needs (the space and work lights). Any additional resources will need to be discussed with the Program Manager.*
Budget and Financial legalities
Should your application be successful, and you are working with a creative team, your project may require a separate agent to auspice your funds. This will prevent you from paying tax on income you are dispersing to your creative team whilst keeping your relationship with your team professional and easier to manage.

I am a sole trader / independent artist.
