Luggage is limited to a maximum of 10kg per person and must be a soft bag (this is a requirement of the charter companies.)

Any aircraft upgrades or additional flying required as a direct result of passenger weights or luggage exceeding recommendations (100kg/person incl bag) shall be at the cost of the passengers.

Please note all bookings are made with current charter rates, any increases or changes by your travel date may result in an increase in transfer costs. Final payload for all aircraft is at the discretion of the charter company and their policies & procedures. We reserve the right to use the excess payload on all charters bookings in any way we see fit.

Kimberley Coastal Camp is a remote wilderness destination accessed by aircraft, helicopter or private vessel. To help us ensure your comfort, safety and enjoyment, please let us know if you have any accessibility, mobility, medical or other requirements that may affect your stay. We're happy to discuss your needs before you travel.

Personal Fishing Equipment

Quality fishing tackle is included as part of your stay, and our guides will ensure you have everything needed for a memorable Kimberley fishing experience.If you wish to bring your own favourite rod and reel, please let us know in advance, including the number of rods and rod tube length, so we can confirm charter and luggage requirements. Due to aircraft space limitations, approval is required prior to travel.

Travel Insurance

Liability - Although all precautions are taken, Kimberley Coastal Camp will accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss or damage to personal effects, or expenses incurred as a result of any delay, cancellation or alteration of any service due to circumstances beyond our control. Any medical emergency costs i.e. RFDS will be payable by the client. You must be fully aware that KIMBERLEY COASTAL CAMP is a remote area and does not offer the normal safety and protection which is found in cities or country towns. Despite our best efforts to keep you safe, there are certain risks and responsibilities that you need to accept.

Use of Photographs/Video

From time to time, Kimberley Coastal Camp captures photos and videos of guests enjoying their stay. We would love your permission to use any images or footage featuring you for our website, social media and other marketing materials.

If you capture your own amazing photos or videos during your stay, we'd love for you to share them with us or tag us on social media.

What to Pack

Your baggage is strictly limited to 10kg per person and must be packed in a soft-sided bag to fit safely into the aircraft luggage compartments.

To ensure you're comfortable throughout your stay, we recommend bringing:

Lightweight, breathable clothing in natural fabrics.
Shorts, shirts, casual dresses and a long-sleeved shirt for sun protection.
A light jumper or cardigan for cooler evenings (June to August).
Lightweight long pants for bushwalking.
Comfortable walking shoes or runners, plus sandals or thongs for relaxing around camp.
A hat, sunglasses, camera and a small torch for moving around after dark
Personal medications

For your comfort, Kimberley Coastal Camp supplies:

Bath and pool towels.
Sunscreen.
Leif shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Hairdryer.
Insect repellent.
Quality fishing rods, reels and tackle.
While sand flies, midges and mosquitoes are generally not a significant issue, guests who are particularly sensitive to insect bites may wish to consult their doctor before travelling for advice or suitable medication.

Leave the tux and tiara at home, barefoot luxury is all you'll need.

Kimberley Coastal Camp offers a rare opportunity to disconnect from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with the extraordinary beauty of the Kimberley.

There is no mobile phone reception, Wi-Fi or television at camp. Instead, you'll find something far more valuable peace, quiet, unforgettable experiences and the chance to truly switch off. It's all part of the Kimberley Coastal Camp experience.

We understand that life doesn't always pause while you're away. If family or friends need to contact you in an emergency, they can call 0417 902 006, and any urgent messages will be relayed to camp as soon as possible. If required, our team can also assist with sending emails, and an emergency satellite telephone is available at camp.

For now, unplug, slow down and enjoy the rare luxury of being completely present. Disconnect to reconnect.
