Camp Kazoo 2026 - Counselor Application

Thanks for your interest in being a counselor for Camp Kazoo! We are so excited for year #10 of fun & memories with the 2026 Kazoo Crew! (Turn application in before May 11th!) If you have been a counselor in the past and would like to be a counselor again, please text/email/message us and let us know!

CAMP IS MONDAY-THURSDAY THIS YEAR! FRIDAY IS MAKE-UP AS NEEDED.

Here’s what we need from you:

Your availability during the summer!! We have 4 weeks of camps, so we will ask that you put down your available dates so that we can assign a team to each camp!
Why you want to be a Camp Counselor?
What can you bring to the table and how can you be a positive contributor to the team and campers?
Would you be willing to meet in person or over the phone for an interview?
How would you describe your personality?
Do you have any references of teachers/jobs/positions that we could reach out to if needed?

Availability: (Check your calendar & check below all that camps you are willing/available to volunteer for. If you check multiple but are only interested in being present at one camp, let us know below!! We will place you where needed, but you do not need to come to more camp sessions than you’d like to take on. Also, it is necessary that you are able to be there all day, everyday for the specific camp you sign up for. It provides the best experience for the campers, as well as our counselors. )

Camp Kazoo has an amazing reputation for its engaging, fun, crazy counselor team & we intend to keep it like that! Camp counselors participate and lead large group and small group activities, camp songs, crafts, and much more. Each counselor will be provided with either breakfast or lunch each day, free t-shirt, bag, kazoo, and unforgettable memories! Our counselors also receive service hours or letters of recommendations for assisting with camps (so make sure you reach out if you need this!!!!).
