Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston's (CJP) Center for Combating Antisemitism, in partnership with Natan Fund, is awarding a limited number of stipends to support and empower Jews in the workplace while fostering belonging and safety at work.
Applications are welcome from Jewish Employee Resource Groups (J-ERGs), affinity groups, or other informal employee groups within corporations, nonprofits, businesses, or the public sector in the region CJP serves across Greater Boston.
Stipends may be used for activities including antisemitism education training, Jewish holiday programming, membership outreach efforts, networking events, cross- ERG collaboration, and/or group participation in community events.
Process & Eligibility
- Individual groups can apply for up to $1,000 for an event, program, or initiative.
- Two or more groups can apply together for up to $3,000.
- Audience size and reach will be factored into allocation amounts.
- Natan can pay vendors directly with a cap of 1 vendor per every $1,000.
- Natan can reimburse individual J-ERG leaders directly with a limit of once per stipend.
- If applicants have a fiscal sponsor a W-9 will be required to disburse stipends.
- Recipients of prior CJP workplace grants are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to new applicants.
- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with a 2-4 week response timeframe until September 1, 2026. Because funding is limited, early application is strongly recommended.
- Answers in the application should be comprehensive but can be written casually and in bullet points.
Please note: Upon completion of the initiative, stipend recipients will be asked to complete a short survey within one month of execution for CJP and Natan Fund to report out on use of funds.
