About Move 4 Human Rights Summer Edition
The Move 4 Human Rights Summer Edition is a two-week immersive MDT program taking place from 6–17 July 2026 in The Hague, bringing together young people (18–30) to explore human rights in practice.
Through interactive sessions, visits to human rights organizations, and collaborative projects, you will gain hands-on experience and work on real-world challenges alongside a diverse community of changemakers.
The program is organized by human rights organizations based in the Netherlands, including Human Security Collective, Justice and Peace Netherlands, Human Rights in the Picture, and Stichting Our Bodies Our Voice.
About MDT
MDT stands for Maatschappelijke Diensttijd, a voluntary social service program initiated by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science. Through MDT, participants have the chance to explore their talents, connect with others, and contribute to meaningful causes.
