We are excited to announce a collaboration with Wake Audubon for a birding event in Annie Louise Wilkerson, MD Nature Preserve on Thursday, May 14 at 6pm.
Rick LaRose, Wake Audubon board director and Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging event lead, will join us as a birding guide lending us his expertise. He will bring lender binoculars and field guides. Please bring your own refillable water bottle, snack, folding chair and comfortable shoes.
All experience levels are welcome!
We will begin by forming an arc with our chairs close to one of the bird feeders. Afterwards we will take a walk on one of the trails. We will conclude the event at 7:45 as we must be out of the park by 8pm.
Directions: 5229 Awls Haven Dr., Raleigh, NC 27614
