Vendor Requirements & Compliance
To ensure a safe and successful market experience, all vendors must meet the following requirements:
Food Vendors
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit requires that all food and beverage items prepared off-site be made in a certified commercial kitchen. Items cooked, baked, or packaged in a home kitchen will not be approved.
Before applying, please ensure you have access to a commercial kitchen to avoid delays in the approval process.
If applicable, vendors must obtain a Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit Certificate. Complete your application
Certificates must be completed a minimum of 14 days prior to your first market date and submitted to: eschaefer@gbmlakemuskoka.com
Skincare & Cosmetic Vendors
Vendors selling skincare or cosmetic products must complete the Government of Canada seller form
Please submit a screenshot of the completed form to:

Egg Vendors
Vendors selling eggs must provide proof of grading in accordance with the Canada Agricultural Products Act.
Documentation must be submitted to: eschaefer@gbmlakemuskoka.com
Insurance Requirements
All vendors must provide a valid Certificate of Insurance with a minimum of $2,000,000 CAD in Commercial General Liability coverage.
The certificate must include:
Business name and address
Insurance provider
Policy number and coverage period
Commercial General Liability details

Vendor Agreement
All approved vendors will be required to sign a 2026 Market Contract with Gordon Bay on Lake Muskoka prior to participation.
