Community Judge
It is the responsibility of every competitor and coach to recruit judges for each tournament the competitor attends. Although judge recruitment may not cost money, it is part of the price of participation in ASDA. Every tournament needs judges in order to run. Competitors need judges in order to get feedback and have the opportunity to compete. Much of the judge responsibility can be filled by parents or adult representatives, but there is always a need for additional community judges.

Competitors should expect to invite and fill several judge spots at each tournament through their own networks of support. For reference, judging one round typically takes 2-3 hours.

Please invite the adults in your life to come judge and to let ASDA staff know their availability by completing the Judge Sign-Up form found here.
ASDA wishes to recognize competitors that fulfill their responsibility to recruit community judges.
