Example bio: Madiha Mehdi is a third-year MLA student at the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape at University of Calgary. She has an undergraduate degree in Architecture from India. Previously, she worked at an architectural design firm for two years, but her love for the environment and desire to give back to the community prompted her to join a non-profit organisation that supports underprivileged farmers and engages in afforestation activities across India. She is interested in exploring how spaces can be made more inclusive and diverse, and research placemaking in urban areas with a focus on underrepresented communities.*
