NAGC26 Coordinator Roundtables Call for Proposals
  • NAGC26 Coordinator Roundtables Call for Proposals

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the NAGC26 Coordinator Roundtables session! Please read through the information below before submitting your proposal.
  • The NAGC26 Coordinator Roundtables will provide a forum for district and campus leaders to share and discuss practical approaches they have taken to address important questions and responsibilities related to a key topic in gifted program leadership.

Presentations should be about 15-17 minutes, followed by 10-12 minutes for attendee discussion and questions (27 minutes total). Presenters will share their presentations twice within the session block as attendees move from one roundtable (10 seats) to another. Presenters are asked to provide sample documents or outlines of their strategies with handouts or links, to give participants take-away materials they may be able to use in their own context.

    Additional guidelines:

    • There should be only one presenter for each submission. This will allow maximum attendee participation, because roundtables are limited based on number of seats.
    • Presenters may only submit one proposal.
    • Presenters should currently hold a role within a school or district that carries direct responsibility for gifted students, whether through instruction, program administration, or district-level oversight, or have direct experience with administrative or leadership roles in schools or districts.
    • Presentations should address alignment with some aspect of the NAGC PreK-12 Programming Standards.
    • Presentations should not duplicate content being shared in other accepted proposals elsewhere in the convention.
    • Presenters will be asked to upload a handout to the NAGC26 app. Presenters are encouraged also to bring sample materials to support the presentation and discussion.
    • Note that presenters will not have access to a projector or screen for larger-scale display.

    Proposal Timeline:
