Parade begins at 1:00 pm on August 23rd, 2026

Line-up starts at 11:00 am. Please check in at the registration booth (Located on Huseth Street/County Road 12 & 6th Street, the Kenyon Wanamingo School West Parking lot). You will be given your unit number & direction on where to line up. YOU MUST STOP BY THE LINE-UP BOOTH REGISTRATION before heading to your parade number.

*You may walk along the parade route to pass out candy, but it cannot be thrown from a moving vehicle.

*If you have horses or animals in the parade, you are required to pick up after them

LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE AGREEMENT
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Kenyon Rose Fest 2026 Parade (“Event”), the undersigned participant (or authorized representative of a participating organization) agrees to the following:

Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in a parade involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, falls, vehicle-related incidents, crowd interactions, weather-related hazards, and other unforeseen risks. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the Event.
Release of Liability
I, on behalf of myself, my organization, participants, employees, volunteers, agents, heirs, and assigns, hereby fully release, waive, and discharge the Kenyon Rose Fest Community, the City of Kenyon, and all event sponsors, organizers, volunteers, officers, employees, and affiliates (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death that may be sustained by me or any member of my group, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, while participating in the Event.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or costs (including reasonable attorney fees) that may arise due to my participation or the participation of my organization in the Event.
Responsibility for Participants & Property
I accept full responsibility for the conduct, safety, and supervision of all individuals participating under this registration. I further accept responsibility for any vehicles, equipment, animals, or materials used during the Event and agree they will be operated and maintained in a safe manner.
Compliance with Rules & Laws
I agree to follow all parade rules, instructions, and directions provided by event organizers, law enforcement, and city officials. I will comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Medical Treatment
I authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary and accept full financial responsibility for any medical services rendered.
Insurance (if applicable)
I understand that I am responsible for maintaining any appropriate insurance coverage for my participation, including liability insurance if required for my entry type (e.g., floats, vehicles, or business entries).
Media Release
I grant permission for the Kenyon Rose Fest Community and City of Kenyon to use photographs, video, or other media of my participation for promotional purposes without compensation.
Severability
If any portion of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTI HAVE READ THIS LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY. I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.
