    In light of discussions by the City of San Antonio regarding the timing of local elections, the Harlandale ISD School Board of is discussing the timing of future school board elections.

    Currently, school board elections are held in May of odd-numbered years. To remain aligned with potential changes at the local level, the District is exploring whether to transition elections to November or other even-year election cycles.

    As part of this transition, current trustee terms may need to be extended temporarily, and the Board is considering what timeline would be most appropriate.
