🐾 Welcome to Dr. Croom's Virtual Veterinary Internship Program! Dr. Croom Mobile Veterinary Service is a holistic, telehealth-forward teaching hospital — and we're building the next generation of veterinary leaders.

This program is open to all levels, from high school students to licensed DVMs.

Dr. Croom Mobile Vet Service is a Teaching Hospital, and we partner with various levels of pet professionals. Please give your current level of expertise.

What areas of veterinary medicine interest you most or do you specialize in? (i.e. large animal, reptile, exotic, lab animal)

What training have you received so far (schools, academies, certifications)? Do you feel — or do you anticipate — that your training is preparing you for the current state of Vet Med (post-COVID, vet shortages, rise of telehealth)?

Dr. Croom has a cattle dog named Mio, a bearded dragon named Akeelah, a leopard gecko named Lucy, a red-eared slider named Ryndal, and two baby cherry head tortoises named Roota and Toota. What pets do you have (or care for regularly), and what specific knowledge about their care do you bring to the table?

One of the weekly internship activities includes participating in discussions within our Skool community by sharing your thoughts, knowledge, or perspective on the weekly veterinary or animal-care topic in your own words. Interns who consistently demonstrate professionalism, critical thinking, communication skills, and engagement may be invited to participate in live interviews, discussions, or educational presentations alongside Dr. Turnera Croom on platforms such as LinkedIn, Substack, YouTube, or StreamYard. These recordings can become valuable professional media assets that interns may later include in: Veterinary school applications, Scholarship applications, LinkedIn profiles, Internship portfolios, and Future professional opportunities.
