No paddling experience required, just a desire to have fun and get fit!

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Canadian Dragons trainings, races or activities, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, do waive and release my and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the Canadian Dragons, their officer bears, members, co-organizers, sponsors, agents, independent contractors, volunteers and other participants.

1.I agree that prior to participating, I will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if I believe anything to be unsafe, I will inform the coach, instructor, team captain or coxswain of such conditions and will refuse to participate.

2. I acknowledge and fully understand that myself and each participant will be engaging in activities which may involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from my own, but also my actions, inactions or negligence of others, the rules of play, or the condition of the premises or any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks
not known to me or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.

3. I assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for the damages following such as injury, permanent disability or death.
I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the Canadian Dragons, their officer bears, members, co-organizers, sponsors, agents, independent contractors, volunteers and other participants (hereafter referred to as ‘releases’), from demands, losses or damages on account of injury, including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to have been caused in whole or part by the negligence of the releases or
otherwise.

4. For Parents/Legal Guardians of Participants under 21 at time of registration. This is to certify that I, as parent/legal guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, do consent to his/her release as provided above of all the releases and for myself, my child and my heirs, assigns and next-of-kin, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the releases from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child’s involvement or participation in the event, even if arising from the negligence of the releases, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

• Registration for the event is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees are strictly non-refundable.
• Photography and videography will be carried out for archival and marketing purposes. The co-organizers and event partners may use some or all of these images/videos in their print publications, digital platforms and marketing channels.
• By registering for this event, you hereby consent to the co-organizers collecting and using personal data for the purpose of processing, handling and managing your participation in the event stated herein.
• The co-organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event programme.
• The co-organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the organiser's control ie: lightning warning.
• Registered participants will be notified via email or other means of communication provided during registration.
• By participating in the event, participants agree to indemnify (Waiver Form) the organizer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of their participation.
