Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Live Sports Advertising for our Media Operations Center to oversee advertising quality control operations across live sports programming. This role will be responsible for managing a team of Media Operations Specialists who ensure advertising quality and compliance, while also developing comprehensive advertising strategies that maximize revenue and maintain exceptional viewer experiences.
General Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee Media Operations Specialists responsible for quality control of all advertisements
Establish and maintain rigorous QC standards and protocols for advertising content
Ensure seamless ad delivery, technical quality, and compliance with broadcast standards
Develop and implement operational workflows and best practices for ad QC processes
Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation for the Media Operations Center
Implement automated and manual QC workflows to catch issues before air
Track and report on QC metrics, error rates, and operational performance
Create training programs to ensure team proficiency in ad QC tools and processes
Foster a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement
Coordinate with traffic and ad operations teams to ensure accurate ad delivery
Implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in advertising operations, media, or sports broadcasting
5+ years in a leadership role managing operations teams and complex media workflows
Proven experience managing quality control operations for advertising content
Track record of building and scaling operational teams
Deep understanding of advertising technical specifications, delivery systems, and QC processes
Experience with QC tools, and media asset management platforms
Strong understanding of live sports advertising ecosystem and industry dynamics
Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting or Communications, or equivalent experience preferred

Salary:
$120K-$165K
