May 7, 2026 - The Myth of Reality - This myth is the first step in understanding how we misunderstand life. Karuna will explore how we cling to a fixed, solid view not only of the outer world, but of our inner world and self-identity too.
May 14, 2026 - The Myth of Identity – Karuna will explore how we cling to a solid, permanent sense of self and how this fixed identity is actually a mental construction, dependent on countless factors, rather than an independent, unchanging entity.
May 21, 2026 - The Myth of Permanence – Karuna will explore how we tend to experience life as if things are stable and lasting, when in reality everything is constantly changing. This unconscious assumption leads us to cling to what we like and resist what we don’t.
May 28, 2026 - The Myth of Randomness – Karuna will explore how we often experience life as random and disconnected, when in reality our experiences arise through the law of cause and effect — or karma. He'll explore how lasting happiness means learning to identify and eliminate negative imprints that cause our problems and suffering.
June 4, 2026 – The Myth of Happiness – Karuna will explore how we often equate happiness with the pursuit of pleasure, believing that more is better. This constant striving can keep us caught in cycles of craving and dissatisfaction, pulling us further from our true nature. In Buddhist practice, genuine happiness arises not from accumulation, but from recognizing the value of what is already there.
June 11, 2026 - The Myth of Only Living Once – Karuna will explore how we often believe this is our one and only life, shaping how we approach meaning, urgency, and fulfillment. This session will explore existence as part of a much larger continuum, with multiple lifetimes offering ongoing opportunities for growth and awakening.
