Agriculture in the Classroom at Virginia Beach Public Utilities/Virginia Beach Farmers Market
Register below to join AITC in Virginia Beach from 9am-1pm on August 5 for an engaging K-5 professional development workshop. The workshop will begin in the multi-purpose training room at the Virginia Beach Public Utilities building (3500 Dam Neck Road) where participants will take part in AITC's hands-on minds-on activities using Virginia agriculture to teach the standards. Following the classroom portion, teachers will be invited to tour the Virginia Beach Farmers Market (located just one block away) and learn of educational opportunities on site. Lunch will also be provided.
