You voluntarily choose to participate and confirm that you are in appropriate health to do so. You understand that individual responses may vary and that no specific outcomes are guaranteed.
Red Light Therapy — Contraindications: Do not participate if you have active cancer or a history of skin cancer in the treatment area, light-sensitive conditions (such as lupus, porphyria, or albinism), or a history of photosensitive epilepsy. Avoid use if you are taking medications that increase light sensitivity (including isotretinoin/Accutane or certain antibiotics such as tetracyclines). Not recommended over the abdomen or lower back during pregnancy.
Smart Scale (BIA) Restrictions: You do not have an implanted pacemaker, defibrillator, or other internal electronic medical device. You do not have metallic implants that could disrupt electrical current, and you are not currently pregnant.
Blood Pressure Check Restrictions: You do not have a dialysis arteriovenous (AV) fistula/shunt, a history of mastectomy on the side being tested, or an active surgical wound or intravenous (IV) line on the testing arm. You acknowledge that you will feel a temporary, uncomfortable sensation of pressure in the arm being tested during inflation.
