    Raising Money-Smart Kids and Teens

    May 4, 2026 – 6:30pm via Zoom

    From the author of Teach Your Child to Fish: Five Money Habits Every Child Should Master, join us for an engaging session designed to help you raise confident, money-smart adults—starting at home. In this interactive Zoom workshop, you’ll learn simple, practical ways to teach your kids how to earn, save, spend, invest, and give without turning your home into a classroom. Walk away with real-life strategies, conversation starters, and tools you can use immediately—no matter your child’s age. Raising money-smart adults doesn’t happen by chance… it happens on purpose.

    There will be a drawing for 30 families who attend the webinar to receive a free copy of the book.

Enjoy samples of food from across the diaspora, interactive workshops that showcase the history and traditions, live performances, and afro-centric vendors. This is an indoor public event with festival vibes celebrating the diverse cultures of the African Diaspora.
