Your Feedback - Te Atatū AFC Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy

We're updating our Policy and want to hear what's important to our Club Members

When we talk about “safety,” we mean more than just physical safety. It includes:
- Feeling emotionally safe and respected
- Positive, appropriate behaviour from coaches, volunteers, and other players
- Protection from bullying, exclusion, or harmful language
- Safe use of communication (including social media and messaging)
- Clear boundaries and adults who act in children’s best interests
When we say "the club", we mean everything connected to being a part of Te Atatū AFC. This includes training, games, tournaments, changing areas, coaches, volunteers, managers and other players.
