Scholarship Application – Fall 2026 Incoming Students
We invite graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll at the University of Florida for the Fall 2026 semester to apply for our annual scholarship.
Application Deadline: June 14, 2026 (11:59 p.m.)
This is a one-time scholarship. Selected recipient(s) will be notified directly. Winners will also be announced at our Family Reunion BBQ on June 27, 2026, and on our social media platforms.
Application Instructions
Submit a complete application by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a graduating high school senior residing in or originally from one of the following counties: Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Lake, or Seminole
- Plan to attend the University of Florida for the 2026–2027 academic year
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Submit all required materials: application, resume, essay, and letter of recommendation by the stated deadline
- All documents must be uploaded in PDF format
Essay Requirement (500 words max)
Respond to the following prompt:
Describe a specific challenge, setback, or issue you identified in your school, community, or personal life. What actions did you take to address it, what obstacles did you face, and what was the outcome? Reflect on what you learned and how you will build on this experience at the University of Florida.
Important: Essays must be the applicant’s original work. Submissions generated by AI tools (including ChatGPT or Copilot) will result in automatic disqualification.
Resume
Your resume should include:
- Community service
- Honors and awards
- Extracurricular activities
- Work experience
- Academic achievements and any college-level coursework
Letter of Recommendation
Submit one letter of recommendation from a professional, academic, or community reference. The letter must:
- Be written by the recommender (not the applicant)
- Be on official letterhead
- Must include the name, title/position, phone number and email address of the recommender
- Include the signature or e-signature of the recommender
- Only submit ONE letter of recommendation
Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification.
Additional Eligibility Note
Per NCAA regulations, student-athletes are not eligible for Gator Club scholarships.
