  • The next installment in our popular hidden history series focuses on the parts of Brooklyn closest the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, including Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, and DUMBO. What secrets lie behind these storied facades? From the earliest Dutch settlements to the heyday of Brooklyn as an independent city, this talk will scour the nook and corners of history looking for those places and stories that are often overlooked.
