• Video Submission Guidelines

    Thank you for your interest in contributing to IC&RC's efforts to grow the addiction counseling workforce! Please review the instructions below before submitting your video.

  • What to Record

    Please submit a short video answering one of the following prompts:

    Option 1:

    “What comes to mind when you hear the word Recovery?”

    Option 2:

    “What comes to mind when you hear the word Addiction?”

    Optional (if you’d like to submit more than one clip):

    “Why does addiction counseling matter?”
    or
    “Why would someone choose addiction counseling?”

    Video Requirements

    • Minimum Length: 1 minute
    • Format: Vertical (portrait) video preferred
    • Framing: Chest-up, centered in the frame
    • Audio: Speak clearly, minimal background noise
    • Lighting: Bright, natural light if possible
    • Background: Clean and distraction-free

    Tip
    Please include the word in your response for clarity.
    Example:

    • “Recovery means hope.”
    • “Addiction feels isolating.”

    • Upload your video using the upload field below
    • Accepted formats: .MP4, .MOV
    • You may submit more than one clip if responding to multiple prompts

    • Do not include music, logos, or copyrighted material in your video
    • Avoid sharing sensitive or identifying personal information
    • By submitting, you confirm that you are 18 years or older
    • Submission of a video does not guarantee it will be selected or used in campaign materials

  • Release & Usage Acknowledgement

    I authorize the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (“IC&RC”) acting through its agents, employees, or representatives, to take photographs, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of me, including my name, my image, my likeness, and/or my voice (“Recordings”). I also grant IC&RC an unlimited right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast, create derivative works from, and distribute the Recordings in any manner or media now existing or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, throughout the world.

    I agree that the Recordings may be used by IC&RC, for any purpose, including but not limited to, educational, promotional, and informational purposes. I agree that IC&RC will have final editorial authority over the use of the Recordings, and I waive any right to inspect or approve of any future use of the Recordings. I acknowledge that I am not expecting to receive compensation for participating in the Recordings or for any future use of the Recordings.

    I release and fully discharge IC&RC, and its employees, agents, and representatives, from any claim, damages, or liability arising from or related to my participation in the Recordings or IC&RC’s future use of the Recordings.

    I have read this entire Consent and Release Form, I fully understand it, and I agree to be bound by it.
