    This standard-size wooden enclosure style is $650 total "turn-key" pricing, painted in standard white, plus tax. The Standard-Size includes:

    • The removal and breakdown of your existing mailbox
    • Installation
    • A standard-size, gray steel mailbox insert
    • A heavy-duty red steel flag
    • Your choice of 4" address numbers in either standard black or standard reflective gray mounted on the flag side of your mailbox. If you would like numbers on the other side as well, it is simply $3 additional per standard-style number.
    • The newspaper slot can be removed completely or closed off for no additional cost (see images below).

    QUALITY MATERIALS
    My wooden mailbox enclosures are built using Paulownia hardwood. It has been officially deemed the aluminum of timber, as it is the lightest to strongest ratio wood species in the world. Paulownia wood is fine-grained, and warp-resistant, it is odorless and naturally resistant to termites, decay and rot.

    Each surface is primed and painted. This provides maximum protection from the elements. I also use a heavy-duty steel flag as seen above. The post is made of pressure-treated 4"x4" lumber, which is treated specifically for in-ground burial.

    MORE OPTIONS
    Wooden Enclosure mailboxes can also come in a custom color for an additional $50 per color up to two total. Simply use the "color-options" button below, choose the color/colors that best match your home and provide me with the four-digit paint code/codes which will start with SW. You can add a stainless steel post protector in either black or white for $30. I do offer some other numbering choices but these add additional cost. See more about these below.

    PUBLIC UTILITIES
    I also contact OHIO811 (OH) or MissDig811 (MI) before installation. If you are not familiar with them, they contact all Public utility services within the area of our predetermined dig location. There is nothing you need to do on your end; they stay in direct contact with me via email. This process takes about 48 business hours from the time I place the call.

    • A large-size, black or white steel mailbox insert
    • A heavy-duty red steel flag
    • Your choice of 4" address numbers in either standard black or standard reflective gray mounted on the flag side of your mailbox. If you would like numbers on the other side as well, it is simply $3 additional per standard-style number.
    • You can choose to have the newspaper slot or not for no additional cost (see images below).

    Your mailbox can be primed and painted in your color choice. We use Sherwin-Williams paint codes. Visit a Sherwin-Williams location to get some color sample cards if you’re trying to match a specific color precisely. As you may know, screen colors can look much different in person.

    PAYMENT
    I require nothing down. I order your materials and build out of pocket. Payment is due on the day of installation, after my work is complete. I currently accept Cash, Check or Venmo.
