Welcome to Term 2, 2026 of our Acting Program! This year, we are excited to offer a broader range of acting and industry experiences for our students. We’ll continue building foundational skills through improv, script work, and theatre games, but we’ll also introduce one-off workshop-style lessons exploring different areas of acting and theatre, including script writing, film, makeup, musical theatre dance, and more.
Classes Offered:
STAGE 1 SESSIONS – Beginners / Play-based performance classes
Welcome to Stage 1 Drama! Here, we focus on having fun whilst learning and enjoying the fundamentals of drama.
Theatre games: snap, snip

Spatial awareness
Improv: space jump
Scriptwriting: ideas for scripts and going from that idea improv
1-day scenes/monologues
Stage 1 Drama is suitable for Upper Primary School-aged students (ages 9-12)
STAGE 2 SESSIONS – Intermediate / Focused acting and industry knowledge
Welcome to Stage 2 Drama! Here, we focus on having fun whilst learning and diving deeper into the fundamentals of drama.
Students will learn diaphragmatic breathing, grounding and self-regulation techniques, projecting their voice, memorisation, improvisation, build confidence, play theatre games, be introduced to writing scripts, and make plenty of friends along the way!

Stage 2 Drama is suitable for High School-aged students (ages 13-17)
STAGE 3 SESSIONS - Intermediate
Welcome to Stage 3 Drama! Here, we focus on increasing knowledge of specialised dramatic concepts and techniques in a safe and playful environment.
Students will learn grounding and self-regulation techniques, film-specific skills to prepare for university and auditions, Realism for film, 2 different practitioners for characterisation and movement for students to put into practice, public speaking skills, introduction to Shakespeare and looking at the comparison of short historical texts as opposed to short contemporary texts.
Grounding warm up
Film skills: self-tapes, eye line, varying projection for stage and film
Realism for film
Practitioners: Uta Hagen, Lecoq
Public Speaking: projection, confidence
Read short historical vs contemporary texts and discuss as a group
Basic introduction to Shakespeare
Stage 3 Drama is suitable for High School to College-aged students (ages 15-18)
