If I am accepted as a volunteer, PopWarner may end the relationship immediately if I have made any false statements or material misrepresentations. As acondition of volunteering, I hereby grant permission for Pop Warner to conduct a background check on me, which may includea review of database records including but not limited to sex offender registries, child abuse and criminal history records, incompliance with Pop Warner's child protection policy. I understand and agree that, if appointed, my position is conditional upon the league receiving no inappropriate information on my background. I hereby release and agree to hold harmless from
    liability Pop Warner Little Scholars, Incorporated, its affiliated leagues and associations, the officers, employees and volunteers thereof, and/or any other person or organization that may provide such information.

    I also understand that, regardless of previous appointments, Pop Warner is not obligated to appoint me to a volunteer position. I understand that, prior to the expiration of my term, I am subject to suspension by the President and removal by the Board of Directors for any and all violations of Pop Warner policies or principles. Furthermore, I hereby attest that all contact information provided herein is up to date and I hereby grant Pop Warner Little Scholars. Inc. and its partners’ permission to utilize such contact information for communications and promotions during my tenure as a volunteer.

    Binding Arbitration Policy: If appointed, I hereby understand and agree that any and all civil disputes by and between myself, Pop Warner and any and all affiliated parties will be subject to binding arbitration in the locale of the Pop Warner Little
    Scholars, Inc. National Office in Langhorne, PA in accordance with Pennsylvania law under the guidelines and rules of the American Arbitration Association. I hereby agree that this binding arbitration shall be in lieu of any litigation by and between
    myself, Pop Warner and any and all affiliated parties. If any portion of this application shall be deemed unenforceable or invalid, this arbitration agreement shall still remain in full force and effect.

     

    Pop Warner Little Scholars Code of Conduct


    Purpose
    The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all participants, including players, cheerleaders, coaches, volunteers, officials, parents, and spectators participating in Pop Warner activities.


    Player & Cheerleader Code of Conduct
    Participants shall:

    Show respect toward teammates, coaches, officials, staff, and opponents at all times.
    Demonstrate good sportsmanship before, during, and after all games, practices, and events.
    Follow instructions from coaches, team staff, and league officials.
    Refrain from fighting, bullying, harassment, hazing, threats, or inappropriate behavior.
    Avoid the use of profanity, abusive language, or disrespectful gestures.
    Attend practices and games prepared, on time, and with required equipment.
    Maintain academic and behavioral standards required by the organization.
    Follow all facility, school, and league rules.
    Refrain from possession or use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, vaping devices, or weapons.
    Represent the organization positively on social media and in the community.
    Violations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from team activities.


    Parent & Spectator Code of Conduct
    Parents and spectators shall:

    Encourage positive sportsmanship and teamwork.
    Support all participants, coaches, and officials respectfully.
    Refrain from coaching from the stands.
    Avoid confrontations with coaches, officials, staff, players, or other spectators.
    Never use abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or profane language.
    Respect referee and judge decisions.
    Keep all sidelines and spectator areas safe and orderly.
    Follow all event and facility policies.
    Report concerns through proper league channels.
    Parents and spectators who violate this policy may be removed from events and/or suspended from league activities.


    Coach & Volunteer Code of Conduct
    Coaches and volunteers shall:

    Prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants.
    Treat all athletes fairly and equally.
    Serve as positive role models both on and off the field.
    Follow all Pop Warner rules, league bylaws, and organizational policies.
    Maintain proper certifications, clearances, and training requirements.
    Never use physical, verbal, emotional, or mental abuse.
    Promote inclusion, respect, and discipline.
    Refrain from the use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco during youth activities.
    Report injuries, incidents, and concerns immediately.
    Maintain professionalism with players, parents, officials, and league staff.
    Violations may result in disciplinary review, suspension, or permanent removal.


    Social Media Policy
    All members associated with the organization are expected to:

    Avoid posting inappropriate, threatening, discriminatory, or harmful content.
    Refrain from public disputes involving players, coaches, officials, or parents.
    Protect the privacy and safety of minors.
    Understand that online conduct reflects upon the organization.

    Zero Tolerance Policy
    The following behaviors may result in immediate suspension or removal:

    Fighting or physical violence
    Threats or intimidation
    Harassment or discrimination
    Possession of weapons
    Drug or alcohol use at youth events
    Abuse toward officials, staff, or participants
    Unsafe conduct that endangers youth

    Acknowledgment
    I understand that participation in Pop Warner Little Scholars activities is a privilege. I agree to follow this Code of Conduct and understand that violations may result in disciplinary action.
