• Southern Louisiana Chapter of AUSA -- College Scholarship Application Form

  • This $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to a 2026 high school graduate who is enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program leading to a bachelor's degree or a community/junior college designed for a direct transfer to a four-year program. Preference is given to applicants who are dependents of active military personnel or a veteran. The scholarship will be paid by August 1, 2026. 

    Recipients of this award will be invited, but attendence is not required, to the AUSA Birthday Ball on June 27, 2026, at the Higgins Hotel in New Orleans to be recognized.

  • V. Final Requirement

  • Membership in the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is required to be eligible for this scholarship. Applicants must be members of AUSA or the child/grandchild of a member.

    Basic membership is free to anyone for the period of two years. Basic members receive complimentary access to Soldier and Family Programs, professional networks, podcasts, and newsletters.
