About Meghan
Meghan and her husband Glenn own and operate Bent Ridge Winery, a delightful little spot located just outside of Windsor, Nova Scotia. Meghan acts as General Manager of the winery, managing staff, systems, and events at the winery's restaurant location. She is also the Weddings and Special Events Specialist for the Winery's on-site wedding venue. Here, she works with brides year-round and organizes and hosts their beautiful weddings. Meghan also programs free live music every Friday evening at the Winery, and organizes a series of ticketed shows at the wedding venue in the summer.
Before joining the team at Bent Ridge Winery, Meghan has spent nearly two decades working behind the scenes in the East Coast music industry, with a strong foundation in arts administration. After an early foray into artist management, she discovered her true passion in event and festival production - creating unforgettable live experiences and building platforms where artists can thrive. She continues to serve as Festival Manager for the Halifax Urban Folk Festival, a week-long celebration of singers, songs, and Stories.
As President of the Board of Music Nova Scotia (2021-2025), Meghan helped guide the organization through a period of meaningful transformation. With a collaborative and empathetic leadership style, she and the fantastic team at MNS have reshaped the organization into a more inclusive, diverse, and welcoming space - reflected both in its internal cultujre and in its flagship event, Nova Scotia Music Week.
